Alice Leffler - Learning
Consultant
Alice is a knowledgeable and
effective trainer, leader, and learning
consultant with more than 28 years of
law enforcement experience. It is her
passion and love for education that led
her to her current position as a Police
Academy supervisor.She comes to TIS
with subject matter expertise in the
areas of curricula design, instructional
development, and leadership development.
She is a pioneer in problem based
learning and emotional intelligence for
law enforcement.
Alice’s consulting experience
includes Michigan State University,
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department,
and the Michigan Commission on Law
Enforcement Standards. She has delivered
keynote presentations to the Commission
on Accreditation for Law Enforcement
Agencies, the International Association
of Directors of Law Enforcement
Standards and Training, and the
Police Society for Problem Based
Learning (PSPBL). She has also
partnered with the Kentucky Regional
Community Policing Institute and Upper
Midwest Regional Community Policing
Institute.
Alice holds a Bachelor’s degree in
Christian Social Ministries and is
currently working on her Master’s in
Organizational Leadership from
Campbellsville University. She currently
serves as a board member and nationally
certified instructor for the PSPBL. |
